Making her debut in the Asian nation, Shakira took the stage for a concert in China on New Year's Eve (December 31).
The Colombian singer joined a lineup of local favorites such as Sa Dindding, Lee Jung-hyun and Maksim Mrvica while on-hand for the CCTV event held in Beijing.
During the course of her stage duties, Shakira churned out three songs including a version of "Waka Waka" in which she taught the audience the accompanying dance moves.
While this was the 33-year-old's first performance in China, she's well-known as a result of her global hit tune - as "Waka Waka" was the official theme song of this past year's World Cup.
